CEO, Financial Services Global Business Unit Capgemini

aiman.jpgAiman Ezzat is the Chief Executive Officer of Capgemini’s Financial Services Global Business Unit (FS GBU), as of January 1, 2009. He was previously Chief Operating Officer of this unit. As CEO, Aiman is responsible for growing Capgemini’s Financial Services business, client relationships and offerings globally, while leveraging the principles of Capgemini’s i3 philosophy: Intimacy, Industrialization and Innovation.

Aiman Ezzat has spent most of his career with Capgemini, where he has played a key role in transforming Capgemini’s strategy and global identity. In 1991 he joined Gemini Consulting, Capgemini’s consulting arm, where he was responsible for a global sector. In 2005 he was appointed Deputy Director of Group Strategy before becoming COO of the Financial Services unit in 2007. He was very involved in the development of Capgemini’s offshore strategy, and in the acquisition and integration of Kanbay within the Financial Services division in 2007.

Aiman was also one of Capgemini’s key players in defining the Booster program that targeted the Group’s turnaround in the United States, and ran several large-scale programs, including a growth initiative to build India operations from 2,000 to 10,000; an outsourcing margin improvement program; and most recently, Capgemini’s i3 transformation program, which is focused on transforming Capgemini into an industry shaper by 2010.

Before joining Capgemini, Aiman was Managing Director of International Operations for Headstrong, a global consulting firm, where he worked with Financial Services clients in Europe, Asia and North America.
